Motorola prepping another 'project,' this time for the Xoom Posted: 27 Nov 2011 02:42 PM PST Looks like Motorola has another one of its "projects" in the works (the Droid Bionic is in the middle of one), and this time the Xoom tablet is the intended target. The following e-mail's making the rounds:
We can only hope that this is Ice Cream Sandwich in the works, and not yet another maintenance update. Stay tuned. Thanks, anon! |

HTC Wildfire S Mini Review (Virgin Mobile) Posted: 27 Nov 2011 10:49 AM PST With the times as tough as they are today it is no surprise that many people look to save money anywhere they can, and for many an easy savings is in their cell phone bill. Virgin Mobile has done a great job with their smartphone line up, bringing great handsets to their network, and recently they added the HTC Wildfire S for their customers. Sure, it may not be the most powerful Android handset to date, or have the largest screen, or the highest MP camera, but is that enough to write it off as a device entirely? Let's hit the break and check out some thoughts on the HTC Wildfire S for Virgin Mobile, and why it could possibly be your next device. |
Best Buy comes to its senses, remembers that the Nexus Prime is the Galaxy Nexus Posted: 27 Nov 2011 06:03 AM PST Seriously, folks, you didn't actually think there was some other version of the Galaxy Nexus that was to be released as the Nexus Prime, did you? Best Buy's issued a correction about the December Buyer's Guide and, sure enough, the world has returned to normal and the Galaxy Nexus is the Galaxy Nexus, not the Samsung Nexus Prime 4G LTE. Thanks, J! |
Nexus Prime at Best Buy's Shop Local page, $299 with 2-year agreement starting Nov 27? Posted: 27 Nov 2011 01:55 AM PST Once again we see Best Buy using the name Nexus Prime, this time it's on the new product page live on Best Buy's section of the Shop Local website as of tonight. Even more interesting is the fact that the $299 price point is good starting today (Nov. 27), with a 2-year agreement of course. While we don't know if this name is going to stick, and no date is official until we hear it from Verizon, any news that shows this phone is close to a release is good news. Another best buy snafu, or something nobody expects? We're not sure what to think any more. Hit the link to have a look, and discuss more in the forums. Source: Best Buy at Shop Local.
