QUIZ: How Much Do You Know About The Flu?

Friday, October 21, 2011
Ready or not, flu season is upon us -- the CDC defines influenza as a contagious respiratory illness that causes mild to severe illness, and sometimes results in serious health complications and risks. They recommend that all people older than 6 months (with a few notable exceptions, here) get the influenza vaccine as soon as it becomes available.

And while that may be the single best defense, it's also important to wash your hands often with soap and water (or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer), avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, and limit contact with people who are sick.

Think you know all there is about the flu? Test your knowledge with this 12-question quiz.
