Designed by Kun-hee Kim, Kei Shimizu and Nguyen-vu Dang, this concept also functions a mood light. Sharp Galapagos A01SH Android Tablet Posted: 04 Aug 2011 02:01 AM PDT The Sharp Galapagos A01SH is a new Android tablet that features a 7-inch (1024 x 600) display, a 1Ghz nVidia Tegra 2 chipset, the Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus capability and LED flash, and a 2-megapixel secondary camera that is perfect for video calls and respectable self-portraits. Doxie Portable USB-powered Document Scanner Posted: 04 Aug 2011 12:52 AM PDT Apparent Corporation has started selling the Doxie portable USB-powered document scanner. The single-page document scanner is designed for quick and easy scanning to PDF format and optional upload to a number of cloud services, including Evernote, Flickr, Google Docs? and several others, or simply saving PDFs to disk. Multi-page documents can be scanned one at a time and saved to a single PDF, PNG, or JPG file. The scanner can also handle receipts, notes, photos and most other paper-based documents. Apparent Corporation also offers a free “Doxie’s Cloud” web-based storage service for documents scanned with Doxie, making it easy to make scans available to others (each upload returns a shortened URL for sharing).
